ABOUT RACK 9 POOL
The home of pro pool
Rack 9 Pool is an independent pro pool media site. We cover the biggest events in the sport with live scores, weekly Power Rankings, event guides and news, so fans can follow the players and matches they care about in one place.
What we cover
- Live scores and results from events as they happen, with US Eastern and local times.
- Power Rankings of the top men's and women's pros, updated every Tuesday.
- News and previews across 9-ball, 10-ball and 8-ball.
- Events and where to watch: dates, venues, prize money and the streams and TV that carry them.
- Rack IQ, our new stats for pro pool.
Our coverage spans the World Nineball Tour, the WPBA, the Pro Billiard Series, Ultimate Pool and the team events, including the Mosconi Cup and the Reyes Cup.
Where we're headed
Pro pool has great players and very little data around them. We're building Rack 9 Pool to change that: deeper stats for every player, from Rack IQ today to full player profiles and head-to-head records. The goal is a single place where fans can follow the whole sport and see how the players really compare.
Why the name
Our handle, @rack9pool, is nine characters. The logo is a rack of nine balls, and the 9 in Rack 9 Pool is the 9-ball, the game that anchors pro pool.
How we work
- We're independent. Rack 9 Pool isn't owned by or affiliated with any tour, event or governing body.
- Scores come from the events' own live scoring. If we get something wrong, email us and we'll fix it.
- Photos and video are credited to their creators. If you shoot pool and want your work featured with credit, get in touch.
- Sponsored content is always labeled, and sponsors never receive your information.
